Update

Just want to share a little update on what I’m doing lately.

I have a finished novel, which I just began querying. Because I’m querying, I don’t want to say too much, but it is a heroine story that involves magic, adventure, secrets, horses, a wild and dangerous forest, love, libraries, and princes.

I recently finished the first draft of the sequel to my finished novel, which has been a challenge. The story has branched out considerably, and there are a few different plotlines to keep track of and intertwine with one another.

I am working on a third, which will complete the story.

In addition, I am working on a fourth, somewhat related novel, and I have to say, I’m having a blast with this one. It began as a short story, so it is very fast-paced and plot-driven, but it’s grown into my favorite thing I have written so far.

I’ve also written a couple picture books, and am working with an illustrator on one of them. That’s a long process.

In addition to all this, I’ve been critiquing some work for other writers, which I thoroughly enjoy, and reading my way through as many books as I can. All of this is keeping me very busy. I can’t wait for the day that I can upload some finished products on here!
