I just returned from a trip to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where I walked among lush, mossy forest, climbed waterfalls, and visited Cinderella’s castle!
(How magical is this waterfall? I felt like I was walking into a fantasy novel. My fantasy novel, to be specific, which has a huge waterfall in the middle of an enchanted forest.)
So . . . what’s the exciting news?
Coming off of a weekend of nature and magic seems like the perfect time to announce that my debut novel, Wintersea, will be coming out on September 1st!
For those who don’t know, I’m obsessed with both nature and magic, and Wintersea is the culmination of both of these loves. It’s got all my favorite things: an enchanted forest, herbalists, a castle, royalty, horses, libraries, romance, a ball, adventure, secrets, and most importantly, magic! I had a blast writing this book, and I hope you will enjoy reading it.

I’m so NERVOUSEXCITED to put this story out in the world. It will be a busy couple of months getting it ready to go and I feel like I’m on the steepest learning curve of my life as I learn the ins and outs of publishing, but I have a couple of experienced author friends in my corner, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support! (P.S. Writer friends are the best!)
